Hello and Welcome to WP Developers Club (herein referred to as “the Club”) privacy policy. Let us first say that your privacy is very important to us. We want to make sure you know what we are collecting and how we use it.
But really…. You’re a developer (or want to be a developer); therefore, you should know what WordPress websites collect and the information is used.
Quick Blanket Statement
We collect the information necessary to provide you a quality experience in the Club. That means your name, email, and activity (no, we’re not spying on you, we just track the normal stuff like comments, videos watched, likes, dislikes, and favs).
We do have sponsors (with their ads) and affiliate links on the Club to help keep the lights on. When you click on these ads and links, you will sharing information with these other sites and companies for which we are not responsible.

Subscribe to hear from us When you register for a subscription, we collect your name and e-mail address. We do use a third-party service, MailChimp, to collect the information and distribute the newsletter.
Email us When you email us, we collect your name, e-mail address, and the correspondence.
Post a comment We will collect your e-mail address and comment.
Member activites When you are logged into the website, we collect certain activites such as your videos you watched and interactive features (such as favorites and likes). This information is collected to help you track your activites and preferences, therebying allowing you to quickly find the information you want.
Web data
Guess what? When you visit our website, we and our support services providers like analytics service, can record certain information about your visit such as:
- Your IP or proxy server IP;
- Basic domain information;
- Your Internet service provider is sometimes captured depending on the configuration of your ISP connection;
- The date and time of your visit to the website;
- The length of your session;
- The pages which you have accessed;
- The website which referred you to us;

We only use this information for statistical and development purposes as well as to improve our services to you.

We need to keep the lights on. Therefore, you will see ads (advertisements or adverts) on the Club, as well as affiliate links. We may share certain information such as your location, browser, and cookie data and other data relating to your use of the CLub with our business partners to deliver advertisements (“ads”) that may be of interest to you. We may allow third-party ad servers or ad networks to serve advertisements on the Club. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send, directly to your browser or mobile device, the ads and ad links that appear on the Club, and will automatically receive your IP address when they do so. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, device identifiers, location data, and clear gifs, see above) to compile information about your browser’s or device’s visits and usage patterns on the Service and on other websites, and to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize the advertising content delivered to you.
The Club’s Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of third-parties. Please consult the respective privacy policies of such third parties or contact such third parties for more information.
How Can I Opt Out?
For newsletter-type correspondence, you can click on the “opt-out” link within the correspondence to be removed from that service.
SPAM Policy
We are like you and just do not like spam filling up our inboxes. We will not spam you. Rather we will only send emails to users that explicitly requested to hear from us.
